Description

Street parking at San Pedrito. We spent two nights here. No problems. Quiet and nice place. There’s a sign at the end of the road asking not to use cars or atvs on the beach because turtles lay eggs here. If you are lucky enough you could see them getting to the ocean. Beautiful experience!

Basically closed because of the new construction…. Don’t bother

Great night time camping spot for doing low key park the truck, sleep in the truck camping. Do note that this is a road in a neighborhood. In the mornings many people like to use this access point to walk their dogs on the beach. Also there is construction happening on the property south of this site, don’t plan on having significant privacy in the mornings. Not the best spot to set up an established campsite but a a great spot to pull in and sleep safely while visiting the area. We spent 3 nights sleeping at this location w/o issues.

2022 update. This spot is overlooked to the north by a beautiful 2-storey casa with roof deck and overlooked to the south by the current construction of a similar property. Large development going on for the entire area to the south. Cool spot to access the beach from, the road in is bumpy and windy but not too bad, single lane but totally doable in pretty much any rig. Might want to think twice about staying overnight though, pretty soon it'll be just an exposed parking loop on the beach directly surrounded by homes. We did stay and had no problems, still a beautiful spot, but many would probably hesitate because of the adjacent homes + construction site. We are in a 21ft Promaster and there is room for 3 or 4 similar vehicles. If you want to tent camp on the beach then this access site is perfect. It's a beautiful beach with very big waves.

Construction zone next door now. Decided not to stay.

Small camping beach close to the water. Lots of surfers looks like the water has come up close to where the vehicles are but still very doable in the back of the camp. Hard packed sand so able to get our 2 Wheel Dr. van in. Nice people and good waves.

Unfortunately currently inhabited by a stuck up arsehole who won't share, despite asking nicely having turned up in the dark. Went north to the beach instead, lovely there.

Room for one maybe two vehicles. We are 7m, and had to reverse out of here and use the nearby driveway to turn around. Didn't stay the night since we couldn't fit
