Really nice campsite. Very nice view, well worth the money. We did a hike to the viewpoint on the mountain what was really nice. We also did a game drive in the river with the guy from the campsite. Had a really nice lookout at Amspoort gorge. We saw 24 dessert elephants. Definitely worth the visit! Camp Site fee N$230 and N$175 pppn.

Little windy, yes. But it's ok, every ablutions block has nice dinner area with beautiful view and wind protection. hot shower and proper toilet (also with great view!)

Report Check-In

Over priced hilltop windy site not suitable for anyone who pitches a tent on a level surface. Nowhere for a rooftop tent except behind the designated shelter right in the prevailing wind. Do not stop here.

It is a windy place, but nice views on the river.
Place is for free, but a sign sayd N$20 pp. If someone came to collect, we where happy to pay ;-)
There are drums to put the garbage in, but it is better to take in with you. The Elephants and other animals will say "thank you".

Report Check-In

Windy open area without trees, but with a pinnacle per site. Poorly maintained. No water when we visited. One of the mandatory campsites as it is no longer allowed to camp in the Hoanib river bed. We stayed for free.

Report Check-In

We went to campsite to get out of sandstorm, campsite seemed closed down or in dire need of attention
