Something not right?

Description

Free. Beach with good waves and very few people. Some fishermans huts where you can buy fresh fish and make some ceviche. A little bit of garbage near the point but with 4x4 you can get a little far from that. To get in look for the bermejo restaurant on the highway (arround km228 aprox), there is a road next to the restaurant that takes you to the beach

Latest Check-Ins

Went here to surf. It was very tranquilo during the day. Saw some people were camping on the beach. However, some surfers from Lima confirmed us that the area is not safe and robberies are quite common (see entries on the map).
We didn’t stay for the night this time. Would be curious to read about some experiences as we will pass this beach again in few months.

ARMED ROBBERY!! Don‘t stay here!

Nice and lonely beach with really good waves. We stayed for 3 weeks together with three other Van‘s, 9 people and 7 dogs and felt really safe - until we got robbed by four armed men one night with guns!! Normally there are only surfer & fishermen during the week - but more people on weekends. The robbers must have seen us at the weekend & came back on Monday evening.
They took everything that was interesting to them out of our cars and even stole the keys of ours. Which made it a looong 2 day journey back to town.
The police told us Paramonga is especially criminal and is famous for robberies.

Safe travels🚐
