Mechanic specialized on modern big bikes. They do big 1200 Gs's as well as big scooters and sports bikes or whatever you bring them. Also sells gear and parts. I camped next to the shop for a few days and watched them working. Yes they have worked with modern motorcycles before and yes it might be one of very few shops with experience. BUT it is still an African garage. They don't know how to work with high quality stuff. No respect for the value. They lay brand new bikes on the side on the gravel to change chains, they don't clean the funnel before they use it for oil changes, they use sharp edged rocks to support the bikes for wheel-changes... Better do everything yourself and just ask them for tools and parts.

They moved from this place, you can find them in Google (Fara Moto Maristes)

Report Check-InSmall moto shop with friendly owner, Fara. Located in the Cercle de Voiles, which is a nice place to stay while sorting out your bike. I got a tire and chain lube here, both of which he had in stock. He has a good selection of tires, some riding gear, luggage and Motul oil. Based on the large number of BMWs, Ducatis and KTMs being worked on, I imagine he has good access to parts. Prices were very European, but worth it for the availability.
