At this place you can drive down to the beach if you have 4x4. The way is norrow but with our 4t van it was possible. It is a quite place but still some rubbish around.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.

The road collapsed and it is very difficult to make a u-turn. Reversing steep uphill is challenging for big rig with no 4x4.
Report Check-InQuiet, empty and cozy! Herman is still there but no sign of drone. No signal for Vodafone (gets lost as soon as you see lake from main road).

In the evening a group of young local men arrived. They were quiete annoying. Loud music, shouting and loud talking till 3 am. 🙄🥴
Amazing place! We stayed 4 nights. Most of the time we were alone, some people came to picnic, which was fun. They gave us day, watermelon and a carp, right out of the lake!
Don't go down the last bit if you don't have a 4x4, we had to push a car back up. Watch out for the big spiders, they are poisonous!
Stayed here without problems for 6 nights. Only on Sunday there were more people for picknick. (Some people drove down to the beach in 2x4, required some pushing back up the hill.) There is no phone signal whatsoever in the whole crater. Didn't see any bears (un)fortunately. Only snakes and our new friend the turtle we called Herman. (BTW: no drone spotted in the water due to water plants)
Report Check-InBeautiful place! Quite and no rubbish around when we were there. 4x4 obligatory for the last section. No signal! Our drone is in the lake. In the middle of the beach about 10 meters of shore in 6 meters depth. We could see it (it is white) but not dive so deep. If somebody is a professional diver and can rescue it and send it to us we would be very happy. Address is on it (Germany) 🙈
