There is a dirt track down to the river bed. Amazing place, sheltered from wind from a lot of big bushes and trees. Ground is grassy and dry. Completely flat spots, lot of wood for a fire. Old fireplaces. Also perfect to place tents. Big trucks no problem to park between the trees.
1km back, we saw a big bear at a local house. Seems that they know him well.

Really good spot. Close to the road, but as there are almost no cars passing by it didn’t matter. Got veeery windy, when we stayed there, but still nice.

Report Check-InAs already stated it's a great place to camp. Just try and find dry wood (lots of old dead stumps around) before breaking green branches off.
Report Check-Invery nice spot with scrubby bushes and trees near the river (water not drinkable) - still quite windy when we were there, and road a bit visible but still a lovely spot with rare vegetation and a bit of shade.

Please take your garbage with you (& toiletpaper).
Indeed a perfect place!! First camping spot on Pamir without wind at night... heaven!(but bit windy during the day)
