Nice campground with fire pit and burning wood. All commodities were closed but we think in season it will be ok. Payment done with an envelop dropped in mail box. Also can pay by credit or debit card at the marina office.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Small campground with several tenting sites that might have worked for parking a van…. The office was open but the water and showers were not. $20 for a place to park was not the spot for me.

Report Check-InSmall municipal campground along lake Hurons north channel. Located in a wooded lot just off transcanada hwy. electricity to most sites, self registration, $20 for tent and $30 for RV with electric. Shower building dated but functional. Basic small town shops nearby and a Marina with playground about 5 min walk. Town was built on copper mining and stone quarrying history after early European settlers found the Ojibway used the area as a copper source as well as good hunting and fishing grounds.
