Latest Check-Ins

Small campground with several tenting sites that might have worked for parking a van…. The office was open but the water and showers were not. $20 for a place to park was not the spot for me.

Small municipal campground along lake Hurons north channel. Located in a wooded lot just off transcanada hwy. electricity to most sites, self registration, $20 for tent and $30 for RV with electric. Shower building dated but functional. Basic small town shops nearby and a Marina with playground about 5 min walk. Town was built on copper mining and stone quarrying history after early European settlers found the Ojibway used the area as a copper source as well as good hunting and fishing grounds.
