Lovely Bushcamp at the start of an apparently seldom used hiking trail, easy 4x4 track to go there is on T4A. Seasonal river, 4 big trees, valley is framed by the typical rugged Cederberg mountains, beautiful scenery, network-free.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Nice spot to visit, but not a place to wild camp if you like to make a braai. Would not suggest it.
Report Check-InWe passed 3 nights here in our RTT in the shade of the trees. The campgrounds in the area where totally full but we had this site to ourselves (other than a few day hikers). It was our 2nd time to stay here. Still gorgeous.
Report Check-InMaybe because it was Friday but the place was packed. When we arrived there were there cars parked qhich we assume we’re on the hike. It seems the hike might also be a multi day hike since they did not come back. Before we left next day there were two other groups coming to start the hike so I would say is not really private. It’s ok no one bothered us but we were not really comfy.
Report Check-InAs described. Passed a nice night in our RTT. Had the valley to ourselves. Lovely views!
