Description

This place is definitely one of the most beautiful places I've ever had the chance to camp at! During the day and especially during the weekend, there is a lot of people having barbecues, lots of music, people taking a dip in the water or kayaking.
But at night it gets very quiet. The day I camped wasn't windy at all but be careful not to camp to close to the water because it is a dam, and they can release water at any time. The sunrise was wonderful. You can get there by car, I personally hitchhiked but even if it's a dirt road, once you get inside the dam, there were any type of cars there. The next day, locals told me I could drink the water but I personally didn't

We stayed 3 nights here. Absolutely amazing place. Mind that during high season this place becomes very busy during the day, especially on the weekends.

Fiquei três noites nesse local. É lindo demais .

Quer dizer, fiquei uma noite, pois na primeira e na terceira o vento era muito forte. Aí fiquei no YPF mais próximo.
Mas se não tiver muito vento, é maravilhoso. Pesquei, tomei banho e fiz churrasco.

No possible to get there…there is a new sand dune because of wind. You can come Here and see if you pass. You can make a U turn easy even if you are big rig. We parked before and nice view to. If you are a tent-bike. There is a container and you can put you tent there to protect by wind.

Absolutely great spot. We parked near the shipping container as it wasn't as windy there. Lots of kiters during the day, and people watching the sunset, but you should really see the sunrise here! Nobody at night.

Oh and dear community, could we please keep the reviews in English. Spanish works for me too, but French or Portugese not.. Just throw it in Google translate if you're unsure. Unfortunately, iOverlander doesn't have a translate function.

Wonderful place, we stayed here for three nights. On weekends during the day, some locals are there and make asado. But at night it is totally quiet and dark. There were always other campers around.

Spent a night in this gorgeous place. Windy in the afternoon but we were lucky to have a calm night and morning and clear views of the mountains. One car came and parked late at night but otherwise quiet. Many locals enjoy this area.

Slept for 2 nights here. Few people were camping around but was very quiet.

really good place with marvellous views on the mountains and the lake, very calm and quiet. There is an indication "no acampar" but as there was late we went down on the punta to be more discrets. Nobody disturbed us.

Amazing place. We spent 2 very quiet nights there. A few locals there until sunset. We observed a very beautiful sunrise and an amazing sunset (it was a bit cloudy where the sun sets and it made incredible colours). Strongly recommended and very accessible place

Baignades fraiches possible...
