Something not right?

Description

There's a lookout with tables & firepits with a great view over the city. Just ask the nice Lady at the little Kiosk. She runs it and we paid 5000CHP for 5p and 2 cars, off season. Might be very crowded in summer and in weekends.
Ad: might be dangerous.

Report Check-In

We have stayed here in times of corona, when there was a stay-home from 10pm til 5am. Nice stay and great view over Talca

BUT!!!
Everyone we met in Talca told us that it is very dangerous, that people will threaten you, steal from you and even they kill people there. One night even the police passed by and told us that it is too dangerous to stay there. They wouldn‘t let us sleep there and even wanted to escort us to a safe place. But since we have got to know people who life there we could sleep im their garden.
Sleeping down at the river is even worse.

Report Check-In

Not able to pitch a tent here. Was hundreds of people on election day.

Looks like a great place to camp near town (relatively speaking) with an amazing view. They said, it was Independence Day weekend so the place had a fair going on. We retreated a but north and called it a night. Worth a look if you need something close to Talca.

past the night here with no problems. many people in the evening, no one bothered me.. didn't ask anyone to pay. nice view..

Report Check-In

very noisy when we stayed here. people at the site drinking and playing loud music until 3 in the morning with dogs barking all night. no hot water available. lady who runs the site tried to charge us 16000 CHP after initially saying 5000 for the group. fine for a picnic and to enjoy the view over the city but wouldnt recommend for staying overnight.

Report Check-In

Nice place, not noisy, showers didn't work, stayed here 1 night. We paid 5000 for 1 jeep.
