Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Only worth it for the ocean access. The highway and road sounds are loud. You are head to butt with trailers. Generators. And, reservations are here: https://www.venturaparks.org/
Report Check-InKind of expensive. It was a $39 fee for the spot plus an additional $8 reservation fee, all told it was almost $50. Also if you’re not in a traditional RV, you might get a knock on your windows at 1:30am like I did. Apparently my minivan conversion is not allowed, but because I’d already paid for the spot, the Sheriff said ok. The spot was really lovely up until that point though. Very quiet and peaceful.
Report Check-InNice place to spend the day/night. Price is now $40 all in. I have a van that is not fully self-contained. County ranger stopped by to give me a warning but was friendly. We chatted and he moved on. Probably best to have a portable toilet with you just for show however there are porta-potties. Enjoyed!
