I was staying a room without bathroom, I saw a lots of bedbugs. It was terrible. Plz don’t come. The staff seems already knew that. They didn’t surprise at all.
Report Check-InI was here 12 years ago and that time was a nice backpacker place. Now they spent a lot of time to build some kind of tribe exhebition, but they forgot about the rooms. Dorm is more like a shelter. Evenings can be loud. Wifi is fast.
Report Check-InGood place to stay, with a big common area (where the Wi-Fi is better) and good breakfast (eggs and toast are 50 kwacha/US$ 2,50 pp). There’s also a bar/restaurant to local people. Helpful staff!
The double room (shared bathroom with hot shower), via Booking, was 360 kwacha/US$ 19 (you can pay with card). About bedbugs, they said that’s in just one room and one bed at dorm.
Report Check-InThis place has a bed bug infestation, we were bitten absolutely loads and even saw a gorged bed bug running across the bed. The receptionist admitted they have had lots of complaints of bed bugs recently and are struggling to get rid of them.
We stayed in a private room without a bathroom - depending on the night the price varied from 500 to 250 kwacha/night. The rooms are basic and fairly shabby, with battered foam matressses, but there are mosquito nets. We were able to bring our bicycles into the room.
It has a bar, which locals use as a hangout spot. The noise from the music and shouting was loud - you’re at the mercy of whoever is partying that night if you’re in one of the rooms facing the bar area.
The shower is dirty but has hot water, there’s only one male and female toilet for the private rooms and the bar patrons also use it so it can get pretty gross.
Wifi is decent, although it does drop out occasionally - make the most of it if you’re heading east, we didn’t stay anywhere with wifi cycling between here and Mzuzu, Malawi! The location is in a safe neighbourhood, a 15 minute walk from the nearest mall where you can find Food Lover’s Market, Woolworths etc. The staff are friendly. The bed bugs are friendlier.
Report Check-InVery average accommodation. $12/night with secure parking. Nothing more, nothing less.

Report Check-InTHE backpack of Lusaka. the place where all travelers meet, sleep, share story and everything. Its cost, cheap and be sure to meet people from all over the world! Definitely what I was looking for.
Dorms K150, which is a bit expensive but alright.
