great modern amenities for an overnight stop. we parked round the back where all the truckers are and camped on the nice grass area, although we got woken up by a man at 9am telling us to move. showers are still 800pesos, relatively busy and quite loud overnight if your a light sleeper. wifi is average and food is good! everything is well kept and clean.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
We slept there several nights as Valparaiso and the area around have only few good spots. We had no problems there, you can park at the back at the 3 parking lots like at every Copec/Pronto. There’s only one shower for women but they allowed me to use a cabin from the men showers. Clean, hot water and enough water pressure. Worth the 800$. Only bad thing: it’s really noisy as the trucks pass very close to the parking lots at the back when they leave. And the the pavement is rough so they make even more noise...
We talked with a german stuff member and she told us that it’s completely accepted to sleep at the back of the house and that she too thinks it’s one of the best options in this area, although not being perfect.
Be careful here! We just had our tire slashed. A guy in a hat and a white t-shirt came up to our van and started asking us if we knew what street was around the corner, then said “ah you’re not from around here.” Then came back and said, there’s a tire shop around the corner, these guys can’t help you here. We had no idea what he was talking about, and looked out to see that we had a severe flat with the side wall puncture. The cops showed up a minute later, and the cópec bomberos helped us fix it. They said this guys is known and he was seen actually puncturing our tire by one of the attendants.
Report Check-InWe came just for laundry and price as mentioned below. Note there is only one washer and one dryer (others Copecs we've been to had two of each). They are located at the entrance to men's showers.
Report Check-InNot only hot and very clean showers (800 clp per Pers) they also have a laundry (washing tskes approx 45 Min for 2'000 clp, dryer 40Min for 2'000 clp). They have a buffet for either 4' 900 or 5'200 clp, depending what you choose . Salat, Main course with meat and dessert). Recommended.
Report Check-InOf you like really noisy and brightly lit places for sleeping, come here! In the back we were told it is apparently not safe to stay, looked a bit dodgy. Currently no working showers. And very close to a poor neighbourhood. I think in the front it is safe but don't recommend coming here. First and last Copec as an overnight spot for us!
Report Check-InWe asked the guy and parked ourselves at the back of the station. Water, Showers (800$), great.

Report Check-InOur first copec of the trip, after a very wet day exploring Valpo. No WiFi we could find. Showers 500 pesos. Noisy at night, but normal for a truckstop. We parked in one of the regular car bays near the entrance.
