Description

Awesome restaurant directly at the Lagoon. The family is really amazing! Best place in México by far! Camping is 50 Pesos per person. If your lucky you're gonna have your own dock for yourself!

NOTE ON THE ROUTE: from the highway it's around 25km of pretty bad washboard- corrugation. It's now a solid, level surface not requiring 4x4 or high clearance in any season, but the washboard corrugation is frustrating. Air-down a bit to soften the ride, it's worth it when you get there.

She wanted 150 per two people. Toilets offered were really horrible dirty. We did not stay.

When we arrived, the owner wants to charge us 200 pesos for the overnight parking but he has a sign in his restaurant indicating it should cost 50 pesos. He charge us 100 pesos with the acces to the electricity but it does not functionning. Recommend to stop somewhere else if you can.

we stayed with kassandra for one week, she charged 100 pesos for parking our van, we had our own jetty and felt really good and chill all the time. she sells fichas for internet and food (although we were cooking for ourselves & never tried the food). I recommend if you want a place to be relaxed nearby the laguna. only thing is that lanchas stop the crossing to the other side at 7pm so you cannot really stay until late on the other side.. unless you find another way to cross but we didn't (we were also enjoying a lot being chill on that side)

This place is alright considering it’s really the only place if you have a bigger rig and want to go to chacahua. They charged me 100 pesos a night and 100 pesos for WiFi for the week. The WiFi barely works more often then not. So don’t expect much but there also isn’t service for American ATT here. You can take the boat across to chacahua during the day... I’m not sure if you could get back at night and since I don’t speak Spanish I didn’t want to risk it. Not much going on here though. Maybe better to park here and plan on staying in a cabana on the other side.

As described, nice place. You can sleep with your camper directly at the water. Sometimes noisy because peer is used by watertaxis and for shipping goods. Toilets and showers are with buckets, but fairly clean. Stayed there for a week. Price was 50 Pesos per night and person. They are also doing boat trips to bioluminscence (worth it!). Going over the channel to Chacahua Island with its nice beaches is 15 Pesos one way. Also don‘t miss the beach and the rock arch at Faro Beach on this side.

nice place. absolutely worth it to drive this annoying washboard almost 1,5 hours.

we were lucky, got the dock-place. but boat taxis used the dock as a platform also.

bathrooms could be cleaner and the people could have a little bit more smiley faces, but they were kind and helpfull.

we went with the boat taxis to the wonderfull surfer island (15pesos per person), saw baby crocodileria, went to the different beaches (don't miss the sundown view at playa faro between the rocks!), made a relaxing sundown tour on the lagune with magic swim in bioluminiscence, enjoyed the autentic life.

Camping with the own car 50pesos per person.
slow internet 100 Pesos for a week.

Recent rains made roads difficult so we got stuck in the mud on the way there. Upon arriving Kassandra and her family were very welcoming and 100 pesos for van camp was reasonable. Bucket toilet and showers not well kept. Parked right by the water and amount of mosquitos made for an incredibly uncomfortable and sleepless night (even with netting/screens). Took us 1.5hrs to drive on the washboard road from the main turn off and with our experience wouldn’t say it’s worth it.

Adelina and her family are amazing hosts. there are a few car spots right on the water by the docks. 50 mxp per person per night. 15 mxp for llanchas to the main island. her son can take you out to see and swim with the plankton at night, it is an incredible experience. They also have kayaks that you can use to paddle through the mangrove tunnels. amazing experiences here.
bathrooms and showers are a rain water and bucket system.

Really a lovely place with a friendly family. We loved it here. We had our own private little jetty area, screened-off from the restaurant area by low palms. Lovely views across the channel and sitting out watching the lanchas passing. Kayaks can be rented to paddle down to the main lagoon) mangroves. Toilet/shower are basic but reasonably clean. Our truck is 6m x 2.2m x 3.3m and just fit comfortably between the palms; much bigger might have a problem to get waterside, but the is also a huge car-park area for parking up and walking through to the waterside. 100$ for 2 people.

Stayed one night. Lovely location by the water with one space with private dock. 100 pesos and 50 more for internet. A bit buggy being near the lagoon but fine with a mosquito net. Good showers and toilet. Walk to the beach is worthwhile.

As described. 100p for two people. Safe, friendly, and they can help you figure anything you need. easy access to surf, and they can take you out to swim in the bioluminescence in the evening.
