Late October, the campground is closed. There are 3 small pull overs on the road (approx 100-200 meters) leading to the campground entrance. All have “no overnight" signs. The parking at the boat launch didn't have a sign, one campervan spent the night.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
All 3 pullouts have “no camping no overnight parking” signs. Campground full :(
Report Check-InSpent one night here. Very quiet. Nobody came by all night. Couple other vehicles as well.
Report Check-InWe slept here one night and were woken up by patrol who asked us to leave, he said we don’t have to rush just that we can’t stay there again. We slept here 2nights in the beginning of the month and we didn’t have any problem, so I guess he was just doing his job but he didn’t really care. There is 2-3 pullout and you can use bathrooms in the camp, lake is nice clean and warm, perfect for swim
Report Check-InNice spot right by the lake, there are two or three different pullouts, so you can choose which one you like more. Clean water, warm enough to go for a swim :)
Report Check-Inwe slept here for 1 night! access to shower and clean toilets at the campground beside the pull out. showers are a dollar for 4 minutes!
lots of traffic until 10 at night because of the boat ramp but really quiet after.
Stayed one night. No problems. Saturday night and sounded like some folks were hanging out at the boat launch but not very loud or very late.
Report Check-InStayed 1 night, no issues. Looks like there were also overnighters in the other 2 pull-outs.
Report Check-InNice quiet spot next to the lake. Stayed here along with one other camper. You can use the facilities at the campground.
Report Check-InPull over by Comox Lake, next to a beach area that is hardly used and a short walk to the camp ground if you want to use toilets or showers. Stayed there for four nights no trouble, beautiful spot.
Report Check-InLate October, the campground is closed. There are 3 small pull overs on the road (approx 100-200 meters) leading to the campground entrance. No "no overnight" sign. A couple other RVs were there, each their own spot. The parking at the boat launch also didn't have a sign, one campervan spent the night.
No issues, left around 7am.
