Latest Check-Ins

We stayed here one night in a truck/camper. The proprietor was friendly and helpful. The bathrooms- 2 toilets and 2 showers - were clean. Showers had hot water but some pressure issues if both were being used simultaneously. Not a big problem. There's an outside dish sink at the toilet facility. There is also an enclosed building with tables but no kitchen at this time. The grounds were clean and had trash receptacles and water spigots readily available. Less than 20,000CLP.

15000 CLP/ night (2 people + van), tell the landlord in advance if you want to take a shower, he switches warm water on. no mobile but decent WiFi. nice views. bit noisy from the road nearby but little traffic at night.

Report Check-In

All closed up with no one around. Assume due to it being low season. Leaving comment in case anyone else is hoping to stay in October! We drove back to Chaiten where there are plenty of options.

Report Check-In

hot showers, for Campers no place to recharge phones or electricity in the bathroom

Report Check-In

Beutiful place! We arrived in the sunset. Put up the barbeque. Unfortunately no one was here so we couldn’t find someone to pay, but definitely worth to pay a bit. Calming with the river and the view of the mountains.

Report Check-In

Stayed here one night. From the car camping site you can see the snow clad peaks in Pumalin park. As mentioned in previous reviews the toilet and shower are combined. Saw only benches and no sheltered space. But I could have missed that. Shelter needed as it rains a lot here. 7000pP

Report Check-In

Seems they separated the mentioned tent area downhill from an (RV) parking uphill closer to the infrastructure. With full house only two full bathrooms is meager. We "landed" there searching for cell signal because of a family matter, no wifi; signal was too low for internet.

good camping
near pumalin and good if you want to some trekking and visit termas el Amarillo

Report Check-In

Pumalin south entrance was closed, so we spent one night on this campground. As described by others. Hot showers. Bathroom doesn't look finished but I guess it is - clean. Toilets and showers in the same room - if the shower is occupied the toilet is too - not a smart construction. Campground well maintained.

Report Check-In

We stayed 1 night with our van, 5000 clp pp. Clean bathrooms with very hot shower. Good camping but no electricity. Average wifi.

Report Check-In

We were in this camping in our 24 feet-motorhome (1 night). Clean bathrooms with showers, wifi average in some places.

there is a nice green space with tables and hot water in the shower ... these are the only two nice things about this campsite. two toilets and one shower are all together in one room, so if someone is showering, you can not go to the toilet. there aren't constructing anything at the moment. there is nothing to protect tents from rain. and what the owner sells you as quincho is nothing more than a bad smelling shed full with stuff, just big enough to fit two or three people in. there is a stove, but where we're not allowed to use it. and there is also a small fire place, but again we were not allowed to use it - although it was raining heavy and it was cold ... and the shed has windows whitout glas. so, It might be a nice place, when it is sunny - and you like to hear the noise of the street, but it is really a bad option, when it is cold or rainy. we found it expensive for what you get. really had much better campsites in the south.

Report Check-In

Pretty green lawn and nice river. Best spot spot to stay outside of Chaiten (which is horrible as are all the campsites therein). Bathrooms are clean with hot water. But there is a sewerage smell which is off-putting. The campsite is small and got crowded so lost the magic for us.
