north to Chunya it becomes a gavel road.
don't need 4WD but lots of sharp stones. we drive around 40 kmh in avrege in the first 100km. after it is still a gravel and dirt road, we drove 60-80. it could be dificult in the rainy season because of the mud. north from Pangale is a paved road.

from mbeya to chunya very good tar road, took us 1h-1h30. also north from chunya to makakolozi new good tar road.
Report Check-InRoad from Mbeya to Chunya good. All sealed with the occasional pothole. Took us 3.5 hours.
