ilwd camping near the river but a much better place than the one 1 km. southeast. Reason: road construction.
Here is nice grass and firepits.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Amendment. I did think I’d checked this but my maps show this well clear of any parks. Either it’s new or the parc lanín authority are policing here. Either way he found me by looking, not by chance.
Report Check-InLovely spot but was approached by a parc provincial warden who said camping within the boundary is prohibited.
As it was sundown and I was on a bike I was let off for 1 night. If you want to try that approach then NO FIRES!
Sadly this needs to be updated to closed
Report Check-InVery nice spot by the river, parking your van under a willow tree, calm.
But: quite a lot of horseshit on the ground and toilet paper in the surrounding bushes.
A fantastic place on the river You can watch the fly fishermen fishing it has fireplaces and space for 2 vehicles we were 2 days there just wonderful
Report Check-InSeems like it's seen better days. Really pretty place hidden from the road and great for cyclists who might want to stop just before Junín or people who want to tackle the climb the next day. Seemed like there had recently been a party as there were quite a few beer cans and toilet paper in quite a few spots. Still good place to stop over for the tired.
Report Check-Inamazing spot. river, wind protection, fire pit, hidden away from the road, we stayed two nights and the kids loved it.
Report Check-InOh my god! Beatifull place for camping. I camp here one night, quiet. Trees, shade, wind Shirley, grass, fireplace, and river.
Report Check-InReally nice spot to spend one or more nights. A bit noisy coz the bridge next to the place.
Report Check-In2 nice spots with firepits at the river and next to the road. Fairly sheltered from the wind. Nice!
Report Check-InUnbelievable! Maybe it's because I've been riding through the dusty dessert for a week, but to be water-side outta the wind on grass next to a fire pit and fishing hole... AMAZING!
It's clearly used by locals, but I didn't see any. Someone left their garbage so I took it with me because otherwise, it's pristine. I even drove to town, looked at the camping, and drove back the to stay again.
If you're a really big rig maybe walk it first, but it's pretty spacious.
Wonderful place ! Grass, near the river, trees, fishes... And clean!!
The only noise you hear comes from the cars crossing the bridge down the river.
Not suitable for big rigs but we entered with a camper 3m high and were able to turn.
wild camping near the river but a much better place than the one 1 km. south east. Reason: road construction.
Here nice grass.
