We stayed here 1 night plenty of room easy access 2 vehicles with roof top tents

Report Check-In

You definitely need a 4WD and high clearance to get there. Otherwise there is a lot of spots on the road to the river, just no view.

There's a little pit outhouse on the way in. There are multiple fire rings, they're all spread apart pretty nicely. I took the one right on the river and had a lovely fire.

Got a spot right on the river, only one here. A little noise during the day from road construction but not bad at all, it's peaceful and quiet at dusk with just the sound of the river. Made it in easily with 4runner towing a 5x8 trailer, vans can make it in if you take it easy.
Osprey patrolling the river, cool to watch them hunt for lunch/dinner.
Great spot.

Several possibilities, this one is next to the river and it’s even possible to make it closer but you need a 4x4… it’s hight pothole and I don’t trust the sand with my 2WD… so I am at this spot witch is great. Internet is spotty.. one bar sometimes and only possible texting with patience

Awesome campsite at the water. Definitely glad we had 4wd to maneuver some of the deep puddles and crevasses in the road! Large spot and flat enough for tent

Report Check-In

Great open spot. No cell service. Very large pot holes.

Relatively quiet except for other vanlifers coming in late or early. Several spots. one bar Verizon service. Didn't try the pit toilet. Some spots close to the river. Need high clearance or 4x4. Trailers or RVs longer than 22 ft not recommended. We got stuck at one point. Blackberry bushes ripe in mid-August. Dog-friendly.

Report Check-In

We didn’t camp directly down by the river as there was already a truck down there. This didn’t stop two other vans from going there to invade. We camped just before the river spot on a very flat area with room for several vehicles and also has a fire pit. It’s a short walk to a pit toilet as well. You could also camp by the pit toilet but that seemed to be an area for boat trailers to turn around so we decided not to camp there.

The two spots right on the river are used as a boat ramp. Many fisherman in the morning and evening on a weekday. We stayed down a little road off to the right where there is more privacy and your not in the way of tour groups launching kayaks at 7am. All in all a very nice spot though. Quiet at night and easy to get too.

Love this place. Lots of spots on the river and free. One pit toilet. Great fishing

Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Hoh as the campground was really full with no privacy betweens sites. We parked both nights by the rocks/bathroom as there were other people in the grassy area and we didn't want to drive our van down further by the river, looked like people were down there as well. Really quiet both nights!

Fantastic spot! Just as described. Rough road lead to spot, nothing to terrible. Went left at the river about 6 spots down rocky path. No AT&T service.

Awesome riverfront spot! Came here in my 2WD Sprinter. Questioned weather I could make it through some large vehicle size potholes that were filled with water, wasn’t sure how deep it was. But went for it and had no issue. Ground is packed well, all sand and rock. Room for 3 rigs. Trailer might be able to make it. RV questionable.

Amazing camp sites on the Hoh River. A few others here, one was in a Volvo wagon, so the road isn't too bad. We parked on the sand at the bottom of the road, where guides launch their boats. Plenty of room to find your own private corner. Nice and quiet with incredible views.

Report Check-In

Just as described large pot holes on the way in but we did it in a 2 wheel drive sprinter. The parking by the river is gorgeous. The parking by the river is also a boat launch so people come down early around 7am to launch boats.

Follow unmarked road down to the river. Big potholes but doable with campervan. Enough room for 2 campervans on the water but more room before the end of the road. A few fire rings already in place. Might be a pit toilet but we didn't check it.
