Beautiful campsites/resort, swimming pools, waterslides, restaurants...
We don't have any photos of this place yet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Please don’t bother going there to camp on a weekday as we were chased away for no booking but mostly because we were black. I wonder what camp site chooses when to accept overlanders….
Report Check-InIf you look for a 'Serengeti' - like quite bushcamp than it is certainly NOT the right place to be.
It is a safe retreat for the (white) locals and their families with small Pools, slides, bar, restaurant, etc.
Weekends you are not alone for sure. We were rather surprised to find so much infrastructure in this "outback" where are not so many possibilities for safe places. Some branches /trees behind the main gate might be a problem for bigger BIG riggs. Normal trucks can slalom them easily. The restaurant has all the normal things....from Burger to Pizza.
The toilets, shower, etc are spotless clean (and of course hot water).
Price is for two person incl car ZAR 300 pn.
Do not waste your time with this resort, not a overlander spot by a long shot, not big rig friendly, ok if you have screaming kids and are part of the locals otherwise you will feel out of place, had a burger and it was dreadful, feel ripped off due to the high price (The highest so far) and having to divert so far off the route for a misleading previous report, ablutions dirty and smelly, no hot water for showers, was told a phase went down so no power....do not waste your time.....seriously, dismal
