United States
This is a USFS designated dispersed camping site. There are two separate loops. As of now (Nov 2020) there are porta potties and dumpsters. Sites/parking spaces are clearly delineated with rocks. This is a great tent camping spot - lots of shady places to set-up - but signs warn to stay 25' from the river.
Looks like it is popular in the summer, but in Nov there were only a few people here.
No service on Verizon.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
There are tons of free campgrounds along this road. Several of them are closed for the season but this one is open.
Technically you're supposed to have a permit in order to have a fire or use a camp stove, but there's no info on how to obtain a permit and I doubt anyone checks.
Medium-level privacy, sites are relatively well spaced but you might still be able to see your neighbors.
Still a great spot! Porta potty and dumpsters are regularly emptied. No cell service. Chubby raccoons and waddling skunks will visit in the evening so make sure your food is packed up at night.
I arrived on a Saturday night (late Oct) and only one other person camped here. Some day users and traffic on the road, otherwise quiet.
