Mindo Lindo | Established Campground

We stayed here one night. Unfortunately, we were too big to stand at the main house and therefore had no WiFi. The shower at the main house was cold and the fact that we left our garbage (separately) there was no joy.. but you actually pay for it at a campsite. We were able to agree on $15. The property and the view of the numerous hummingbirds is unique.

We stayed for a night and enjoyed it very much. There are so many Hummingbirds - saw at least 10 different species. There is also a walking trail.

Clean shower and bathroom, wifi close to the house.

Now it is 20$ per night.

Hemos estado 3 días aquí en Mindo Lindo, un paraíso lleno de vegetación, hermosos árboles y plantas que Pedro ha creado, con senderos para caminar, una terraza con muchos colibríes volando y alimentándose . Pedro muy amable.

What a wonderful place! stayed here 2 nights, Pedro is such a nice host! His property and the beautiful paths are incredible. Paid 15$ pn for us in our Truck. highly recommended ❤️

As described it a beautiful place and everything works! Clean bathroom, hot shower, good internet. Lots of hummingbirds from the terrace. 30 drive to Mindo. But better option to stay than Mindo. Highly recommended……

We spent a short but wonderful time at Mindo Lindo. Pedro gave us a very warm welcome. He offered smoothies and fresh fruits and shared some of the interesting history of this unique place with us.

We enjoyed exploring the property on the small pathways and watching the birds from the lovely terrace.

The night was tranquil, except for the sounds of nature all around :)

Clean toilets available, we did not ask for showers.

Price for one night was 15 USD for the two of us in a van.

you are immediately overwhelmed with the number of birds here. at the hummingbird feeders we positively identified 11 species of just hummingbirds! a dozen more "regular" birds. the couple said when they bought this property in 95' that it was pasture land and they have spent the last 27 years planting a forest. so many cool flowers too! when you look around it's hard to believe. it's quiet here with lots of little nooks crannies to check out and a 1.7km trail down to a creek. the property is far from the road but you can still hear trucks engine braking. very clean potable drinking water here from the spigot with only 20ppm. even though no guests were staying there we were not allowed to take showers. if you're more than 8m long then turning around at the end will be tricky.

We had a really lovely stay at Mindo Lindo. We didn’t call or text beforehand so there was no room available for showering but that didn’t make our stay less nice.
It was quiet, our dog had fun with the owners dog, we saw lots of animals during the day and night. Very good wifi, although it doesn’t reach the parking spot. Heike and Pedro were always nice and helpful.
We got a bench and table for cooking with our gas stove and had the meals with a nice view.

Hermosa reserva privada de flora y fauna!
muy recomendable, si quieres conocer Mindo, y su belleza natural!!!
cientos de colibris, por todas partes, recomendamos acampar o las habitaciones!!!
Pedro el propietario es muy correcto y un gran anfitrión, siempre atento a sus huéspedes!!! excelente

The nicest people we have seen , even offered us to share a 5 o'clock tea ,with porridge and all . Stayed in our camper for the night and opened a room for a very comfortable hot shower . 10$ for the two of us . What else...?

private Reserve run by a Ecuadorian German couple. beautiful setting. nice large terraces with colibri drinking stations. an incredible amount of hummingbirds as well as other species. very tranquil. incredibly nice owners. Heike is an ornithologist. they also offer tours. you can stay in your car next to the big house. Also, they have beautiful rooms. We got tempted and stayed in a room. also possible to get breakfast. nice trails for birding on the premises. Spanish, German and English spoken.
