the last 500m to the Farm are steep and may be not good in rain season, the place to stay its ok, you must like dogs, you can use the kitchen, the warm shower, we ask for using the washing Maschine and payed 3,50US each washing by myself. Family is friendly and nice, whole Farm is beautiful 10USpP

Nice place with a nice view. A bit cold at night. We could use the kitchen and bathroom from one of the apartments, so also places to sleep inside if it is too cold for you.

All has been said, perfect place to stay and learn a lot about high quality coffee production.
4th generation family and Mela welcomes you with a lot of information.
Accessible also for big rigs and they have various spots where you can camp.
Cools down at night to around 14C, so perfect sleeping !
Highly recommended

And we ALREADY came back for another 6 nights 😅 This place is so good and the café they are building up the hill is ALMOST ready and looks divine. Make sure to buy a bag of coffee from Mela if you like specialty coffee. It’s amazing as a V60.

This is one of the best campings we have ever paid for (normally we seek out free campings). After 13 months in the van with no real break, we stayed here for 8 wonderful nights. Having the cabin for the daily afternoon rains was amazing. Super cosy. Mela and Luis are extremely friendly. Their two children are very sweet. The coffee farm has loads of little trails to walk through. The dogs on the property are all loving and our dog enjoyed playing with them.

We will miss this special place! If you are arriving after 3 weeks from this post, they will probably have finished the amazing café/breakfast spot that is a beautiful building made of light wood and covered in glass on all sides. This place is magical. I’ll second the previous comment and say I’d also like to live here.

Oh, and that hot shower paired with cold sleeping temps?? So good. They even provide thick towels and let us wash some dirty clothes in their machine. I can’t wait to come back!

What a lovely spot! Beautiful farm, a little creek and nice view of the surrounding cloudforest. There are a fea dogs in the premises but they are very quiet and just lay around in the grass. There is a fully equipped cabin that you can use, including towels and a kitchen with oil, salt etc. We really loved this last stop before returning the car!

A place I want to come back to again! We stayed overnight with our rooftop tent. Never felt more welcome. Beautiful farm, lovely hosts and you can use a fully equipped cabin kitchen (gas stove, electricity, water with their own coffee) and hot showers for USD 10 p.p. nice view and parking just by a little creek. Mela and Luis and their family are the kindest. When they are available they even give a little tour of their farm and we could by coffee. They also have a beautiful 120 year old farm house that they restore and rent out.

Wonderful place with wonderful owners. Flat area to park. Electric and water available. Bathroom with toilet and shower. Dumping possibility. Luis and Mela speak Spanish and English and are wonderful hosts. They can give you coffee tour. Just drive up the driveway to the house. You can taste and buy coffee. We had a bbq with them!!

I would live here if I could!
Plenty of space to park - we had 2 other vehicles with us in front of the historic house. Looked like there were 2 bedrooms inside to AirBnB as well. Full kitchen, gorgeous, clean bathrooms. Hosts were exceptionally friendly! Breakfast (for an additional cost) included fresh baked bread and coffee from the farm. We enjoyed the farm tour (additional cost). We got lost on the way there and the manager came out to find us and pick us up. Ask him about off road tracks to great views and hiking nearby.

Highly recommended, nice camping within the coffee farm and great amenities and atmosphere in the historic main house. Guided tour around the coffee farm very interesting insight in the Costa Rican coffee business.

We had a great stay here! It is a beautiful location in a coffee farm with a very beautiful historic house. Luis is a great host, we could use all their facilities, including a nice kitchen and bathroom. Our kids also had a great time with all the toys they could play with. Thanks a lot Luis!

Awesome experience, we stayed one night and loved it, Luis gave us an amazing coffee tour and explained us how coffee gets from the plant to our cup, showing us all the process.
We were welcomed in their house like if we were part of their family (so please be respectful and if you are looking for a place to party this is definitely not).
