Ecuador
20 dollars for two nights. Beautiful huts. Very nice owner. Loads of parking. Wifi. Right on the beach! Nicest place we've stayed in!
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Only spot where you can have the rig right at the beach in Ayampe. The price seemed nevertheless too hight for the services provided. Weak wi-fi, Cold creepy shower, no trashes management,... the place really feels ran down. For 10$ per person. Won't come back.
Report Check-InThe lady wanted $10 PER PERSON. We tried to negotiate and she said the best she could do was $8pp. Too expensive. We left.
Report Check-InStill the same. 10$ for two and a car. Direct beach access. Best and cheapest place in Ayampe.
Report Check-InThis place fits big rigs (beach access gate, no 4x4 needed) but electric won’t run an AC. All else as described. Great potential, but needs some loving attention. $5 per person per night.
Report Check-InIn our opinion this is the best option in lovely Ayampe. We stayed here a total of almost 3 weeks on 2 separate occasions.
The Good:
Right on the beach with surf directly out front! Electricity, non portable water, bathrooms, both indoor and outdoor showers, Netflix worthy internet (although sometimes intermittent), communal kitchen.
The Bad:
Bathroom and indoor shower usually dirty (we used the outdoor shower 100% of the time). Kitchen is primitive. The actual place itself would not be considered beautiful, it’s the proximity to the beach that makes it great.
Palma Coco. We stayed in our truck camper for $5 per person per night, they also rent Cabañas for $20-$30/night. Wright on the beach in Ayampe, good wi-fi, access to communal kitchen, ok bathroom but the shower was clogged so kind of gross, we did not plug in but I saw electrical outlets. Nice outdoor shower to rinse off when you get back from the beach. Beautiful beach for swimming, walking and surfing. Palapa on the beach for shade. The restaurant was closed when we were there but plenty of options nearby. Busier on weekends but still quiet. If no one is there you can inquire at the mini market at the corner, it’s all owned by the same family. The name is Palma Coco but it’s hard to see the sign, see photo of entrance.
Report Check-InThe room was not so clean, there were holes in the sheets, blood marks. And there were cockroaches in the room. 20 dollars for 2 people in the room. Nice location.
Report Check-InLots of mosquitos. Price is now $7.50 per person and no use of the kitchen allowed. Beach and water are very nice. Electricity in restaurant but owner chain smokes making it very smelly.
Report Check-InThis place was awesome ! We paid $25 a night for two of us for a private room. Try and get an upstairs room, amazing views. Right on the beach, and eat here! The Lebanese owner makes an incredible feast for $7, by far the best food we have had in town. Gate height to enter was about 3 meters.
Report Check-InExcelente opción!!! Sami el dueño es muy amable el teléfono de contacto es 0990017698
Report Check-InGreat spot on the beach. At first we thought we were too tall to enter the gate, but Sami the owner let us know there is a beach entrance that we could use.
