ADMIN NOTE: Road reports are not supported by iOverlander as per our criteria.
We took this shortcut from the main gravel road to the volcano viewpoint (also marked on iOverlander) using Maps.Me. This is for 4x4 only and no vans. I wouldn't attempt this is wet weather or after rains.
The track soon after the turn is washed out by some steep ditches. There are diversions - follow the tyre marks - but you will still need to go down into those ditches. So much fun!
Further on the track is getting washed away to the side, but passable for the moment.
We needed our low gears to get up the volcano and a had our differentials locked too.
