Between the restaurant and the old station, we ask to the owner of the restaurant and he let us pitch our tent. No traffic at night. You can have some salted water and buy potable water at the restaurant. Water taps on site not potable.

Huge gravel parking lot, level spots near the abandoned buildings, but WiFi is better near the restaurant. Lovely owners, allowed us to stay without any problems. Generator behind the building was turned off around 11 pm, only very little traffic on Ruta 40 during the night.
Report Check-InBig parking lot of a restaurant. No problem to spend the night owner of the restaurant are friendly.
Report Check-InThe restaurant owners are really nice and helpful, we've left our horses there for one night while we went to San Juan to do shopping. They fed them and have them water and didn't want to accept any money for it. Drinking water is brought from the city, so don't waste it if you don't need it.
Report Check-InSome drinks ans snacks available. They let us fill our bottles with potable water.
Report Check-InGreat place to stop. Camped in abandoned buildings behind, which were already cleaned up pretty well. Quiet at night, really friendly staff. Fresh bread in the morning. Open from before 7 am until after 11 pm daily, so easy (clean) bathroom access.
Report Check-InFriendly folks. We ate a late lunch in the restaurant and parked on the north side under the roof. Generator noise in the eveneing is somewhat muffled there, and they turned it off around 10 pm.
Report Check-InA lot of space around the café. We stayed one night with our campervan. Very friendly owner. Drinks, snacks and baños available. The power generator (?) at the back made a lot of noise, but stopped sometime in the night. It didn’t disturb us from sleeping.
Report Check-InThere are some abandoned buildings behind the cafe that are perfect for putting up a tent. The cafe people were very nice and even recommended one of the buildings for us. They have a great selection of snacks and open at 7am for a morning coffee before you hit the road. Salt water from the tap but they filled out bottles from their clean kitchen water.
