Description

Great campsite close to Bucaramanga, the way up to the camp might be a bit difficult for large campers. The surroundings are great and the staff very friendly (only spanish). There are showers (very cold) and several flat camping areas with electrcity and running water near by. There is also a restaurant service we didn't use. 14000 COP p/p/n

we wanted to stay 1 night here, they asked for 60000 COP so we left. The way up is crazy and steep with a big Car.

Mixed views on this place. The location is superb, although the entrance driveway is very long and steep. This is not a place for campervans of any sort. Only tents are allowed and any campervans must be parked in the parking area sandwiched between cars. This means you'll struggle to sit outside and beside your van, so I would suggest somewhere else if you're in a van. Also, this is a PARTY PLACE....music will be pumping out of large speakers from about 18:00 into the night, making conversation in the restaurant impossible. 99% of the visitors will be adolesents who are there to party. It's a shame the place isn't aimed at travellers or campers. This place could be so cool. There's more f*ked up rules too, like you have to pay in cash to stay, but you can use your card in the shop. Some bottles of wine could be bought by card, but others can't. Go for the views and to party all night and sleep in a tent, otherwise go elsewhere. Prices now €13.000COP pppn.

A bit of advice: unless you like a lot of music and many holiday makers Saturday night and Sunday might not be your taste as there are many visitors from Bucaramanga. But the music stops at 23:00 Saturday night.

I returned because I love this place- especially the incredibly nice staff. The manager accompanied me to Bucaramanga on three separate occasions to sort out car and visum problems.
The camping area is enlarged and improved. And if you want a treat there is also a hotel with clean rooms

They wanted 14k pp, then 12. however the WiFi wasn’t working and we could only camp at the parking area. They didn’t really seem interested in having us there so we left and went to the paragliding place, it was much better there!

Very nice camping. Very friendly hostess. But be aware that the gate closes at 21:00 . After that time you won‘t be able to get in.

Very nice place with a great view! Several spots on the parking lot to choose from. Not all even. The Finca has a nice hike of about 2,5h through the cloud forest. Free Tap water as well.
The road up is pretty steep and some turns are tight. However we had no issues with our 6m long and 3,4m high truck camper. They will Lift the cable for you...
They started with 15.000 per night per person, but we negotiated down to 10.000.

Beautiful place with an amazing view.
Rosalba is the best host and knows a lot about the region and Colombia in general. Some leveled spot to park. 10.000 pp after easy negotiations. Beautiful sendero. Really quiet during the week, weekends can be busy with visitors from Bucaramanga. Very cold showers and on/off wifi.

The price is now 10k pp. Our car is 6 m long and some curves were difficult. When you drive in front of the restaurant, they must lift the cables with a Stick, if your car is higher than 3 m. You should take the upper site, because at the restaurant you have to hear very terrible music all day!
