with hundred of Kms of nothing, this yellow building is my lifesaver from wind. I don't know what it is used for but it is next to a river. definitely not residential
it was weekend, no one was there working thus I camped on shed behind. probably u can try asking workers for permission if they are there working on weekdays
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
stayed there to be protected. best place in the sector by far. but there is a sign saying no camping with RV. not abandoned building but not use everyday by workers
Report Check-InWow. Didn’t “save my life” but I was so happy to get there, have lunch, a nap, and a rest from this freaking wind, before continuing cycling to Bajo Caracoles. Best (and only?) spot to stop/sleep on that section. So this building is used by Vialidad which maintains roads etc. But no one here on a Monday either. Enjoy!
Report Check-InSave our life as well.
After the long and tough drive from the border “paso roballos” we arrived late and we was looking for the closest place we can find for the night.
It gave us really good protection from the strong wind.
Also was at weekend so no one was here.
Thank you for finding this place!!
