If you surf this a great spot, the beach is nice and the village has a frenetic fishing activity. We were allowed to camp in a empty grount next to two vacation houses, the house keeper allowed us to use water from a pipe in the yard of the two houses. We loved it here,really peacefull place. Restrooms and Wifi in nearby small restaurants. Is also possible to camp next to the kiosks of the beach, just ask which one is not working and people will gladly inform you.

Really nice location right in front of the beach, in a small fishing town. Quiet at night and felt pretty safe. We parked on a free space of sand in between some
empty bamboo huts and asked some locals for permission. They let us stay for free with a big smile. There are two small shops and a cafe next to the beach where you can get some water (drinking water 18.9L= $2,75, or refill with non drinking water for free). We could make use of the wifi from the free spirit hostel, when we bought a beer. They had no problems with us using the wifi afterwards in the van (we asked them). The people of the village are really friendly and children are curious to check out the inside of your van! A fisherman came by with some fresh fish to buy, which we unfortunately refused since we already started cooking. Sunset was great. You can bring your dog to this place, but bear in mind there are a lot of (as far as we know friendly) stray dogs around.
We parked just on the road,in front of the beach. Nice and quiet spot,near to the village and lighthouse. No problems with the people who lives there and the hotels. You can ask them potable water.
