Agua Purificada | Water

This is not an Agua Purificada. It’s the city facility to treat the water. It makes it potable for locals.
We filled our gallons for free. I asked if gringos drank it, they said yes. I had a funny belly at first, but I was ok. My friend that is known to have a weaker belly had diarhea for the time she drank the water. She stopped as soon as we got other water. Just so you know. Came back on Sunday, but it was closed, so we went to the park to fill up RV.

Filled our truck camper for free.
Said the water was purified and the facility is a purified water depot.
Had a long hose that was able to fill me in the large truck driveway on the far side.
The people were very friendly and extremely helpful. I think they might have done all the work for me if I wanted they were that nice.

We gave them (three of them) a cold can of coke each for their help and then we all had a great laugh at a comment and gesture one of them made. Very limited English but they knew right away what we needed and came to help.

Even when I offered to pay, they refused - hence the offer of coca-cola!!

Tried to get water here but was closed on a Saturday.
Trying again on Monday.

Very friendly people. We filled our tank with potable water for free. Perfect!

Before checking iOverlander, we stopped by this place to see how much it was to fill our 20 liter tank. This is not a bottle refill location but the city water office. However, the told us to fill up from their hose near their entrance for free. Hose may reach the parking area if needed.
