okay park. As Noisy as a rest area. Before you book, check out a larger map. We ended up on the outer ring with 10 feet of bush between us and a major highway. Traffic never stopped and very frequent starting at 6am
Report Check-InTwo parts of this park, one that is nice and private (sites 1-30), then the other part that is wide open with vary little trees. Not much to do in the park compared to others, but not a bad location to explore others activities around the area. Showers were nice with tiled floors & walls, water was hot. Two of the three bathhouses seemed newish, while the third seems quite old. Boat launch area has some kayak rentals as well as a boat tour.
Report Check-InMosquitoes were horrible! Couldn’t even hookup to electric without being swarmed by huge mosquitoes!
Report Check-InAbout $30 online reservation after fees. If arriving after 5pm you need to call before 5 to get the gate code to get in (2019). Bathrooms had hot showers with lots of room in the stalls and laundry worked with credit card (~1.75 washer and dryer each). Mosquitos were super gnarly - wouldn’t return again for that reason!! But a good place to stay if in the area. About 2 hours to the Everglades main visitor center.
Report Check-InGreat place
Very clean
Very quiet
Staff is very friendly
We stayed at camp #19
Nice state park, but sites are mostly small and packed together. Sites in the 80’s seem best for privacy, sites in the 60’s the worst. Nice restrooms and showers. Almost 40 bucks a nite if you book online with “fees”.
Report Check-Inun excellent State Park, propre, avec toilette et douche.
il y a des moustiques évidemment c'est un milieu humide et marécageux.
Good campground with clean hot shower, laundry machine etc. From some spot you can hear the road but it’s ok during night.
31$ for one night. You can book on reserve America.
The spot with more privacy are 84 to 87!
State Park has electric & water, hot showers, flush toilets, paid laundry with credit card only (place in upside down). Mosquitos & no-se-in’s make it almost impossible to sit outside. Many use campfire in order to keep bugs away. Fee $ 22 per night + $6.70 transaction fee + $5.28 tax. Only 1 nature or hike trail. Mainly canoe kayaks, motor boats, fishing. Lots of grasshoppers, moths, bugs. Very few private camps - close quarters.
Report Check-InAn amazing place ! We did kayaking in mangrove and didn’t see any alligator even if they said we could see one sometime. Shower are clean. We visit Marco island wich is really nice too and did our laundry there.
Report Check-Innice campground, clean, 24 $ per site per night, wasching machines and dryer can be payed with credit card. Many sites with shadow from cypress and palms .
Report Check-Invery close to everglades and big cypress areas. shower house very nice but only 2 showers. not a large campground so wasn't an issue for us. dump station wasn't level. stayed in spot 36. backed up to road but not loud at all. no water near our spot so no alligators. all spots were in 3 minute walk of bathhouse. rating based on available amenities.
