The national forest sierra madre road across the street was closed for some reason, we found this little turnoff for a trailhead just down the street, small picnic table here and room for a few rigs
Nothing special but gets the job done for the night if the better road on the other side is closed
Was able to get ATT Lte with the booster

Big clear sign that says No Overnight Camping. Which we ignored. Buyer beware... We had no troubles, rarely have I seen as many stars.
Report Check-InWe came in when in was dark. Easy to find a rather flat spot. Quiet at night, far enough from the road. Had a good sleep
Report Check-InDid the trick for us. We pulled all the way in and parked near a cave to get as far from 133 road noise as possible. Our dog Ralph loved this place. Very green with running water in March, probably dry desert most other times of year. The trail is also quite nice and good for hikers of all levels. Recommended
