Nice spot along a spur off the main road. Passed several campers, but no one else in sight from here! Great mountain view’s.

No problem for 2wd. Parked next to trail head. AT&T two bars

great place to stay but there weren't a lot of spots and the road has bad ditches and flooding. I got through with a Subaru and a bike hitch. if you like mountains you'll have incredible views. i heard some cayote but otherwise very quite and spots were spread out. I will definitely be back. as a solo female camper I felt very safe and left alone.

Loved this area!
Verizon LTE coverage varies… I moved to a different spot each night. I had 2 bars for the most part… did not have to put up my booster.
If raining, be very careful driving uphill to these spots as the water drained from the higher elevation via the road. You can see the water indents. It was pouring when I arrived and the water was coming down fast but the sand on the road was surprisingly hard and I was not leaving deep tire marks.
There was also a huge standing puddle after the first hill. I engaged 4x4 just to be safe but saw other vehicles later in the evening that definitely were 2WD that seemed to make it up the hill and through the water just fine.
I did wake up around Midnight and two other vans had parked in my campsite… ha ha very strange, I’ve never had this happen before. But the weather outside was not favorable ~ and sharing is caring ;).

Beautiful spot! 4 bars AT&T and 2 bars Sprint with LTE. Fairly windy.

Sweet BLM land. Long dirt road with plenty of designated camp sites. Bring your own water and things and you’ll have a great time! Pretty quiet with awesome views.

Report Check-In

Quiet blm road, but busy on the weekends. A few pullouts, no amenities, free. Road in bad shape but does not require 4wd. Max 14 days.

Good place just outside Bishop, no shadow, no facilities. Many cars/tents during the night.
