Latest Check-Ins

The shed for tents on the photos does not exist anymore, they are building a new guest house at that place. As for now, the owner offered camping in the small garden for 7000 or sleeping in one of the clean, not finished rooms for 7500. easy decision as rain rolled in :) everything else as described, proper Wi-Fi, community kitchen with wood fire and kettle, hot shower.

Report Check-In

it is now 7000pppn to camp. Friendly owner, hot water and a communal kitchen with a kettle. Does the job!

Report Check-In

6500pp + 500 per vehicle.

Great WIFI. And maybe the best grassy spot for campers. No height restriction, but maybe not for super big rigs. Fits 2 campers comfortably.

Have a common area, but the kitchen is quite bare. No stove for cooking. Womens shower has no hot water, and the Men’s room has hot water for ~2 min then the heater shuts off. Then you have to turn off, wait, and try again.

Owner doesn’t seem super friendly, but not mean. There is a sign saying checkout at 11am and at 11am he will come to tell you to go. Sort of leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. But it’s good for a night.

very small place fou motorhomes.
but we managed to get in and park.
nice place and nice owner.

Report Check-In

Stayed one night while passing through on my motorcycle, was cold and raining. There weren't any covered areas to camp, but as another person indicated they allowed you to sleep in one of the hotel rooms under construction for 7000 pesos/US $7. Great wifi, nice big room to cook/relax, 2 blocks away from town center. Owner was very friendly.

Report Check-In

Okay place for one night. There is a place inside where you can make dinner and sit dry with a fire. There is no kitchen stove so you have to have everything yourself. Shower was only warm for one minute. They are building the place for small rooms.

Report Check-In

We were able to sleep in the building under construction away from the rain. Common area, kinda like a hut with wood burning stove for heat except that they don’t provide wood other than moldy plywood. No cooking stove but you can use camping stove in there. Freezing showers but great wifi. Electricity only in common are if you want to charge your phone. Okay for the night, wouldn’t recommend, they don’t provide hand soap, dish soap or TP.

The nice woman asked 6000 with my campervan. The problem is the place is now a biildingsite as she is building a new big cabanas for the guests... I thing in summer 2023 everything will be at the right place. At the moment 1 wc with shower m and one w.

nice cramping, put your tent inside the house. good kitchen but no place to cook

buen camping, pones tú carpa en la casa, cocina buena pero sin estufa

Report Check-In

Very good wifi, about 40 mbps up and down.

There’s space for only 2 vans, but the owner tries to pack people tight. Also she offered to make laundry for us. The clothes came out dirty wet, and we saw how a few items fell down and she stepped on them. She probably didn’t use detergent. The next day she charged be 12000 for it (the same we paid for the whole day of camping). The worst laundry experience in Panam, and she’s not the nicest person in the world. We would never return again.

Also there was some noisy truck repairing right in front, and of course barking dogs (but that’s okay)

Report Check-In

Clean and really fast wifi! Enough space for 3-4 campers. Really good camping. Some noisy dogs during night in the neighbourhood, but hey, that's South America.

Report Check-In

very nice camping, very clean and tidy, even in low season. The owner came to clean for us and light the stove. there is a nice common room where you can cook and warm up and dry your things by the stove. Nicer than the other campings we saw in Junta.

Report Check-In

It has not a lot of space for camper but we stayed in low season, with our 7,50 m long truck in the yard :-) and it was place for another smaler camper. Showers are not hot but o.k., even for this time of year. The owner was very friendly and like to talk, even if your spanish is not very good :-) .

Report Check-In

As described. covered area for tents although also the cat bathroom. We put tent on the grass instead. Nice showers, kitchen area, sink to do laundry, and good WiFi. 4000 pp

Report Check-In

Small campsite with 6 covered pitches. Covered cooking and seating area. Toilets very clean. Very good wifi. $4000 per person for tents.

Report Check-In

Nice and small backyard kind of camping. Space for about 5 tents under cover. There is a common area to seek shelter from the rain and cook food. The stove doesnt work though. Good wifi and shower.

Nicest camping we found in la junta. Very clean, with shelters, toilets, electricity, veery fast wifi and very warm showers. The couple who runs it are very nice. It even has a nice, comfy room to stay in and the owners made a fire for us without asking. 5000 pp with tent. big rigs should be possible.
