Found CG in good shape. Bathroom was in fair shape. Note: Camphost is not removing reserved postings on the sites that are vacant. You'll need to find vacant sites on recreation.gov then ask the camphost if the site you want is available or not. Today all the sites listed on rec.gov as open was posted on site as taken. Don't believe what you see within the campground. I almost left because everything looked already reserved. Picture of site 23

Ok spot for the night not very many places to stay in Las Vegas so this works just fine, and at 20$ can’t beat it!! Dump station and water available in the park! No electric cell service is ok with Att.

Spent two nights here while we visited Vegas and the Gold Strike Hot Springs. Very clean and quiet. Never did see the host, just reserved the spot we liked on the phone and paid. Fun hike down to the wash/river below. Bathrooms are dated but clean.

Probably the worst national park campsite I’ve ever stayed in. Can’t believe I paid $20 to stay in a tiny site littered with trash, old wood and half burnt toxic plastic stuff in the fire pit, and inconsiderate neighbors blaring music and smoking with no camp host in sight to do their job. So disappointing.

You have to reserve spots online now ... the fee is $20 per night ... the annual National Park pass only gets you in the park for free ... the 50% discount is only for people with the 62 years or older pass and a handicapped pass ... there is a place to provide that information when you register online. The misinformation regarding the discount was disappointing, but the park itself is quite nice ... flat spots, nice flush toilets, and enough greenery to provide shade. The water level is sad to see ... it must be down at least 40 feet ... nothing, but a small river in the basin.

Nice this time of year, few campers. Good Verizon reception and tv stations. Payment is cash only, so come prepared.

Two clean water spigots next to each bathroom. Quiet area. Not busy so there were plenty of space between campers. No showers. Warm all day and night.

This is a nice campground and it is well-kept. It has a dump and water and a nice view of the Las Vegas wash. Verizon and AT&T services are strong in this campground. Be aware that in the non-generator loop many of the tent campers are commuting to work and get up and start their cars at four or five in the morning to drive into work so even though there are no generators there is a little bit of noise before the sunrises.

Nice spot. Was here during the gov't shutdown and the self registration box was gone and nobody asked me to pay. Bathrooms are clean. Free Wifi for 1st hour then you have to wait 24hr to connect again without paying. Unlimited Internet for $5/day, $15/3day, $30/month. Was fast enough to watch Netflix and video chat without issue.
