Nice place for a fly fishing stop. The creek has small brook and rainbow trout.
Feb. 1, 2023, creek is close to dry.

Didn’t try to fish but more then enough water in the Arroyo Apeleg at this time of the year.
Recommended drive though. Lot of Nandus and Flamingos crossing the way. And sheep’s of course
Drought conditions have not been kind to arroyo Apeleg. Today the creek was just a few pools, with only one (small) fish observed. Fantastic drive, though.
