Pull in site about a 1/2 mile off main road. Road back is hard packed sand in decent condition. We made it there in our Class B and our clearance isn’t the greatest! 2 bars of cell service and room to roam the dog!
Report Check-InAlmost beached the van on the dirt roads. Stayed off the paved road instead. Lots of deer, song birds, and woodpeckers. We received a visit from the cops in the morning who circled the van to check us out but didn’t say anything to us. We suspect someone reported us. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.
Report Check-InI drove by here but didn’t stay. There’s a dirt road running through the area about 7 miles long that connects to the main highway. Seems like a decent spot if you just need some shut eye. I didn’t stay because i work from the road and cell signal went from spotty to non existent here.
Report Check-Ingreat spot to spend the night after soaking in the hotsprings. LA water told us twice no camping at the hotsprings but up towards the hills is fine. very quiet and the road is in is good.
Report Check-InCamping along west of Old Highway 395 on a dirtroad towards the Sierra Nevada. Just 1 mile south of Keough Hot Ditch with a nice view over the Owens River Valley and to the White Mountains.
