wild road, military check point for guns or drugs, guns with full military gear, very young men, take your name and vehicle age, checks your compartments, stunning desert scenery, haven't passed anyone...need 4x4 or SUV in good shape

No military checkpoint on the hole road. Road is not to bad. no need for 4x4 only high clearence helps. a bit of washboad but not to bad. Most of the time we drove 30-40km/h. nice landscape but not worth the drive but nice shortcut from mex1 to 5 (mex3)
