Description

Beautiful yet less popular waterfall, a bit further from the main road. There are a number of different waterfalls, it's fun to explore.

It’s dog friendly!

The north road is asphalt, while the west road (which we took) is reasonable quality gravel, but there are a number of unmarked forks and intersections and it can take up to 1.5 hours.

Entry to the falls is 50 pesos per car.

Beautiful falls in the middle of the jungle. We also did agua azul falls and like the Roberto barrios more because it was less commercial and turistic. You can swim anywhere in the pools and in the falls : dont hesitate to explore the 5 cascadas.
We arrived by the paved road from the north and had two roadblocks (paid 30 total + 10pp). We turned right at the billboard with the bikini woman and paid 40 pp (but nothing for the parking). Great place to spend some time, very nice atmosphere !

Our absolute favourite waterfalls. They are beautyful, comparable with agua azul (which we also loved) but it has a nicer athmosphere.
You get to walk through jungle treks and enjoy very private parts of the river. Make sure to get to waterfall 4 and 5. one of them was our favourite with many possibilities for jumping and just hanging out in the pools.

We paid 40p/p entrance and 10p parking. We didn’t stay in the wildcamping. Didn’t sound like a quite night, so we enjoyed Los capolines;)

The quesadilla restaurant next door is great ;)

Incredible. Turn at the sign that has a woman posing in a bikini, don’t continue or you end up paying the village guys to see one water fall. Stupid mistake.

At the camp of the waterfalls there is a sick old dog. Please take food to feed him if you feel it in your hearts. Keep the other dogs away while feeding him so he gets some. 🙏🏻💕

Amazzzzzing waterfalls!! We were there on a Thursday afternoon and there were only a handful of other people around. Tons of places to swim! Falls are gushing after the hurricane/rainy season beginning, but still dark emerald green (not brown!), not too cold and many safe places to jump in! The quesadilla place right at the entrance rents hammocks for you to bring in, great idea!

Beautiful waterfalls and not crowded at all (we were there on a Wednesday). We took the road from the mex 307 and that road is in a good condition. Took us 50 minutes from Maya Bell nearby the ruins of Palenque.
We had an amazing afternoon here, exploring the different levels and swimming.
Best off all, they allowed us to take our dog, our dog had a great time here!

Forget about the paved roads. This is one of the most beautiful (swimming) spots in the world. Way more beautiful and less crowded then semuc-champey. A must go.

We got some car trouble here a slept for a few days at the parkingspot. The locals here are friendly and curious in a fun way.

We took the paved road from the 307. The drive one way is 20 min. The drive to the falls and back to highway + hiking to all 5 waterfalls took us around 2 hours. The road is in good condition. We paid 50 pesos to park and entry of 2 people. We didn't go for a swim since we already swam at some other waterfalls today, and it is very buggy. One could easily spend an entire afternoon here or 40 minutes.

Awesome paths to countless waterfalls. We had a blast exploring. Really cool areas to go behind some of the water falls. 50 pesos for the car and two people.
