80 km before Manankoro and 80 km after the border it is and extremely difficult piste with enormous wholes and steep sections. For our bus it meant walking speed, 4x4 drive probably 30 km/h

New road
Cote d'Ivoire- Mali. There is a new road from Manankolo to Garalo: After doing immigration and customs in Manankolo, come back to the bridge and turn right. Follow the main route: Mafale, Banankele, Sologougouda, Garalo. Take us 2 hours to arrive at Garalo with Toyota Landcruiser. This route is not in maps.me because is new. Not tared but ok.
