Description

There's 2 spots that you can camp here. When you first pull onto the property you'll see a massive gravel area to your left and a much smaller area to your right. If you prefer to park on pavement, proceed onward to the casino and there's quite a bit of paved area although this area was packed with RV's. There's a movie theater, casino, and boat launch (fee) here. Walk to Walmart or Safeway, or fast food. There's also a small campground (fee) next to the casino.

The Blue water Casino now charges $27 night for dry camping and $45 if you want to be on the river. You must have a professionally built RV which model can be identified on the net. No composting or do it yourself rigs allowed.

Dry camping offered in the parking lot of the casino. There’s no flat ground but we used our blocks and no problems. From the 2nd Oct 2023 is no longer free. They will charge $35 for dry camping.

Checked in at the Club in the lobby, free can coozie and $10 slot play. Truck campers that fit into one parking spot don’t need to register. Great place to stop and relax.

Paved parking in the casino parking lot. The reviews said they didn’t allow vans or class Bs anymore, but the employee didn’t care when I told her I was in a van. She asked me how long I was staying and, when I said just 1 night, she said I didn’t even need a pass. They said RVs get a 14 day pass, but she didn’t say whether or not my van would be welcome for more than just a night. It’s likely the off-season (or maybe everyone is in Quartzsite for the Big Tent show, which is why I fled for a night) because there are only a handful of other rigs here and I didn’t see any at all on the gravel areas. There is a movie theater and the views down by the river (behind the casino) are stunning.

They no longer allow converted vans to stay for "dry camping". RVs only.

Over the past 20 years we used this spot as a waypoint...just one night each time. Pulled in there this year and immediately was contacted by Security and told to leave the property. NO RV's of any sort allowed on their property, unless you rent a room in the Hotel.
Disappointed as we usually eat there and "feed" a few machines in the Casino.
Oh well, they probably saved us a few bucks. 🤣
We will not return there.

Down by the river. Take the next left after the casino leaving Parker. Basically just a pull over off the road, but wide enough to fit a large rig. $15 to the RV resort at the end of the road. Nice spot to chill for a day or two.

Lots of dry camping in the gravel area. Some spots are level but most are a slope. Noise seems low some humming of generators but not bad. Lots of Campers here. $10 free play for new members.

RV or 5th wheel only, no vans, camper vans or cars.

Nice casino but full of bored employees. Check in at The Club desk. You will be given a membership card with some free slot play and a couple other 'goodies'. Only then will you get the parking pass for an overnight stay, up to 7 days. The restroom is nice. There are two bars and a restaurant. The marina was closed when we were there and we were asked politely to leave when we walked out to look at the ducks on the water.
Regarding camping, there are acres of parking surrounding the casino and the hotel, and except for the employee lot to the south end of the property it's all sloped. we asked security if we could park on the edge of the employee lot. Because we're traveling in a truck camper, he felt it was okay to do so. We saw lots of motor homes and a couple of trailers at the back of the lot. For the most part it was quiet around us (it was a Sunday night) and the tower lights did not disturb our sleep. Would stay again but possibly further up the hill away from the lights even though it is terribly unlevel. Wasn't entirely comfortable with the employees walking past on their way to and from work. Would give four stars if the little ratings gauge was working.

Now open to RV'rs. Need to check in in the casino at The Club counter where you'll get a tag for your vehicle. First you need a casino member card so you need ID. You'll get a few "gifts" then they'll let you park for up to a week. We were told the large acreage is not their property. They asked us to park on pavement or near it. There were about 18 RVs spread around. Very good LTE signal.

Temporarily closed due to covid-19
Perhaps in the interest of public safety, like all the other casinos. The large overnight area just off the entrance is completely empty.
