101 steps going down tunneled out access to cenote with incredible clear water.

Cenote is over 35m in diameter, half relatively
shallow, other half much deeper.

We were there alone (Saturday / 11am).

The local rate is 15... See how you go! fake Mexican accent helps (if you are a native spanish speaker)
We asked the police where to park (to avoid issues) and they directed us to the dirt area... they were excited to speak to us in English. if they are close van should be safe! a very nice place for a swim, under the plaza

Lovely cavern type cenote with the entrance at a little plaza in town. The steps down are wonderful. We had the place to ourselves. 25 pesos per person. Worth a stop and a refreshing dip!

was a neat cenote. however they charge tourists 50ppp. we didnt have the energy to argue. after we left and were sitting outside we noticed that other people didnt pay and just went down to cool off and come out. we stayed almost 2 hours to get out 100pesos worth. we were also allowed to bring our dog. overall expensive but a cool cenote.

We loved it! Right in the middle of town, not touristic at all! For rock climbers, there is some deep water solo to do (5.7~5.8).
