Description

FREE CAMPSITE
Nice protected pine tree camping area right on the water. Some shelters with table and chairs. Has baños but they are closed at night. Cold showers on beach.
There is only an entrance fee if you arrive by car or motorcycle.

To get there...
As you drive south through Saavedra you can see the beach and camping across the water. Follow waters edge around till you go past the shops and just before you get to the beach there is a gravel road on the right. Go along gravel road and you will eventually arrive at the pine trees after about 1km.
Some small huts selling goods like snacks and inflatables. kayak hire also available. Local guy selling empanadas in the morning too.

Report Check-In

This is a free public campsite for anyone who gets here by bicycle or hiking. You also have the option to take a small boat from the malecon to get to Los Pinos Beach for 500 pesos. A nice place to camp amongst the pine trees. Be sure to camp far away from other people... because sometimes they party all night long.
