Botswana
We didn‘t camp here, but stopped at the gate and think it might be one of the nicer places in the area. My understanding is that the campground is fairly new. Camping is only 50 pula pppn plus entrance fee of 100 pula pppn (for international guests). You can hike into the gorge. The gate is only open until 16:30. +267 5350004

I stayed here for two nights whilst climbing the highest hill in Botswana, Monalanong Hill (1503m or thereabouts). An easy walk to the base from the campground. Plenty of cold water, concrete furniture, firepits and braii stands; BWP100 for foreigners per person per night. I had the place to myself.
Report Check-InCommunity run camp P100 per night. Basic but very clean shower and toilet block. Only cold water showers but water actually luke warm from the storage tank. Trees for shade and concrete picnic tables and fire pit. Very basic but I liked it. it felt like I was wild camping but close to city. good road upto lodge, gravel for last few hundred meters to camp.
Took a guided hike to the gorge. P100 for the day with guide who was the perfect blend of talking and just being quiet in nature. 6km walk up to the rock pools. You can drive up if you want a shorter walk but I wanted a few KM in my legs. Would be great after alot of rain. Saw springbok, rock rabbits and lots of birds.
