Great and genuine welcome from Mr. Luis! Very low price for a room with two beds and shower with hot water (on request), all spotless. Free washing machine. Dinners from 150 pesos upwards, they also offer cheap breakfasts and lunches, Mrs. Teresa is an excellent cook and I say this as an Italian chef. However, there is the possibility to use the kitchen and the fruit that they provide free of charge.
There is also the possibility to camp, park or stay in the shared room as well as being able to book a mezcal ceremony at a ridiculous price!

Bathroom with cold shower, no wifi.
Bit expensive for what it is but across the road is the same price so not much choice
Hosts Luis and Theresa are very very friendly

100% recommend! Slept 2 nights in converted SUV under shade of tree. Outside flush toilet is new and convenient and has cold shower. Garden and outside dining sitting areas are wonderful. Enjoy easy river access or just sleep to the sound of it. Have a sunrise coffee with view. Day hike to towns along river dirt road trails.

Stayed two nights in camper van. Prices remain the same $200/night and dinners $150/pp. Cabañas are beautiful and now complete. SUPER hosts and super beautiful. recommended.

As others said bevor. Just wanted to add that you can use their washing maschine if you ask. Price was 200 for our vehicle and 150 per person for a great dinner. Ask for chicken and chile con queso. You can also use the kitchen to cook if you want.

That really is a great place.
The 2nd bungalow is just about ready now.
Very friendly family and the meals are delicious.
Can’t go wrong with that place

Terese and Luis have been building this place for the last 4 years. As others have posted this is a great place to stay. We were here with 7 vehicles and had plenty of places to camp. There is a room available with 2 beds too. Breakfast and dinner was excellent. Swimming in the river was a great way to cool off. Hot showers are available too. Fantastic! Teresa and Luis really looked after us, great food, good place to sleep for a very reasonable price, we can highly recommend this place.
We stayed in their room since the price was such that we couldn’t justify pitching our tent! But they have plenty of space to camp with either a tent or small camper. It right on the river handy for a swim on a hot afternoon, lots of good local knowledge, just minutes walk from the village.
We had breakfast and lunch here, Teresa is a wonderful cook and everything is very reasonably priced.

As said before Teresa and Luise are wonderful hosts and do everything to make you comfortable. We stayed three night in the shady parking lot with view of the river, hot showers in the bathroom of the dorm if it is not occupied otherwise in the mainhouse. Power down at the kitchen (helpful if you have an extension cable). We had dinner once which was delicious. They work hard to make further improvements to the place (Camping Mx200 per night/car, dinner Mx 100/Pers) Can truly recommend a stay here.

Agree with all the comments below. A wonderful place. Friendly people, great location on the river, delicious food. Nice facilities - camping or cabaña. Loved it here, wish we had time to stay longer. 150pesos for truck & 2 people. Amazing home-cooked food 80 pesos per meal.

Beautiful place with lovely hosts - Teresa and Luis. We are vegans and Teresa made us some delicious food from her garden and everything else from scratch. There’s some chickens, turkeys, dogs and cats running around. We camped and the lawn area was clean and quite with lots of plants and flowers that were well maintained. The dorm room was built, with shower and toilet which we were free to use even if we were camping. Took a dip in the river, which is only 20 meters away! Highly recommend staying here! It’s been the best place we’ve stayed in Mexico! Worth the trip to Urique!

Directly across from Entre Amigos. We had an incredible experience staying here! The owners, Teresa and Luis, were wonderful hosts. The camping area is on their property right above the river in a secure area. We paid 150 pesos per night and 60 pesos per person for each meal. The meals and their hospitality far surpassed our expectations. All the food was from their small farm/garden or locally sourced, the tortillas handmade fresh each day. There is enough room in the parking area for large recreational vehicles. Currently, they are building a dormitory for beds so camping is the only option for now. They have camping gear to rent if needed. The only downfall is that there is only one bathroom in the main house where they sleep, so after everyone goes to bed you have to find your own way. Showers are available by manually heating water in a bucket. If you are looking for an
authentic travel experience you must stay here!
