many sites. 87 I think I read. $5 per night fee. maybe 15 rigs and tents here. Road recently graded and surfaced with 1 in minus crushed gravel. pit toilets are maintained.
Report Check-InNice spot. Don't try to come back in a car unless you don't care to lose your bumpers. pretty empty tonight. couple rigs. RAV4 hybrid made it back but idk if I'd try it again with my rear rack on.
Report Check-InLots of spaces and fairly quiet. You can have a more open field spot or a little more dense tree spot. Pit toilet is a nice perk, but bring your own toilet paper. No other amenities as far as I can tell. The road up was atrocious, but I managed in a Prius.
Report Check-InThe dirt road to the camping is in terrible condition, but the camping is nice. It appears to be free with a federal pass (america the beautiful). Sites available in open field, or further in the forest. Picnic tables and pit toilet (no toilet paper!!) available. We were there for 2 days, and only one plane used the strip. Close to the National Park and Sunrise summit.
Report Check-InNOT free, $5/night for “recreation pass”; sign said not the same as a Discovery Pass. Road in is horrible, severe craters in road I would not attempt without high clearance vehicle-only one way in. Though I did see Fifth Wheels and Class As. Enter extremely slowly. Otherwise as described
Report Check-Invery large campground with tons of sites. lots of little level concrete patches to park a car/trailer on. make sure not to park on the big open field in the center, it's a revegetation zone. only downside is it's not very private.
