Signs posted for no overnight/camping
The picnic area across from the gas station is good to go

beautiful spot, would ask towns people before coming here because I was written a $500 ticket and escorted out by the sheriff. I think it's due to covid-19 only that they are suddenly enforcing property laws

Awesome place. A nice hike too. Eclectic mix here tonight - car camper, moto campers, two big rigs back a ways from the trail head parking. And me in the camper van.

MapsMe didn't route me past any "No Trespassing" signs.

Report Check-In

Our GPS brought us to a road where it was written "no trespassing". We didn't stay.

Pretty cool place. I didn’t get a flat tire but was able to fix it quickly. Decent cell signal. There is a trail head nearby

Amazingly beautiful, highly recommend this place before visiting Big Bend NP (entrance is 15 min drive). Quiet and beautiful star gazing.

Beautiful area and incredibly quiet. Truly grateful for the permission to stay. A bit eerie at night so try to arrive early especially with pets :)

Indeed a very nice place. Quiet, clean and wonderful landscape. We had a great night between the rocks. Please take care of such wonderful places. Free and very recommended.

Dirt road. Need Google maps to find the spot. Small rig friendly because of the road. Very nice place. Quiet. Windy at this moment.
Route en terre battu. Besoin de Google maps pour trouver l'endroit exact. Plus facile à rouler avec un campeur VR de moins de 24 pi. Très bel endroit. Tranquille. Venteux à notre arrivée. Lever de soleil...

Amazing views, tons of space, and quiet as the grave. Highly recommend. No services.

This spot was next level good. The views, the privacy, the silence were all equally amazing. It’s about 20 mins to the park entrance and about 40 mins to Panther junction so well worth it for the price... free ;)

At the end of the dirt road there’s a large area where you can park to access the hiking trail. I spent a few nights there and had no problem. I was told it’s private but the land owner tolerates camping, so please be nice to people who come and go for hiking and pickup your trash. If you want to watch the sunrise the large parking area will give you an incredible view! Otherwise for more privacy about 100m before the turn around there’s a spot on your left with a fire pit in the middle of the rocks, very cool site I stayed there as well, I had seen people camping with a tent there and leaving it during the day to go hike in Big Ben National Park, so this place seems safe.
