Small campground in a side canyon next to the Colorado River. Sites 30 to 37 are best if 20 amp electrical hookups are sufficient or if you are in a tent. One of the few campgrounds where the tent sites are nicer than the RV sites. There is a big grassy area for the tents. Showers need to be remodeled, but work and are hot. Beach, boat ramp, hiking trail. There is a well-stocked small store 1/4 mile south.
Part of Arizona State Park system. $30/night for 20A sites. 30 amp cost more.

Report Check-InSmall campground along the Colorado River. Small island separates a cove from the main current of the river. You can paddle or swim in a lovely eddy that will keep you comfortably within the cove. Clear water, nice beach, even a boat launch on site. Beautiful views of rock cliffs. Hiking trails. Bathrooms have been updated. Showers are clean and have good water pressure. Staff are friendly, helpful, and go above and beyond with hospitality. Sites 30-37 for small campers/vans/tents are on a terrace overlooking the water with easy access to the beach and up high enough that view is not obstructed by beach goers. Small convenience store 1 mile down the road, well stocked - gas, propane, kitchen with pizza/chicken/sandwiches. Campground located conveniently between Lake Havasu City and Parker. Overall 5 stars!
