Description

Commercial Hot Springs with camping in Tonopah AZ. Bit of a "hippy" vibe. Hot spring water is pumped into various pools and bathtubs on site. You can reserve private pools but be aware that nudity is required in the public area. There are showers and flush toilets on site. There are a few casitas available as well. I paid $40 for soaking and camping. You can soak the next morning as well with an overnight stay, or there is a day rate as well if you just want to soak. next to a truck stop and 2 taco trucks. some cattle odor if wind blows.

As described. A rustic quirky hot springs. $40 for camping plus $20 for each additional person. This includes access to the communal clothes not allowed hot tubs. Many individual tubs and 2 shared tubs. Or, if they are available, you can substitute an hour in a private tub if they have availability. Here’s the deal with reservations. They answer the phone starting on the 15th of the month until the next month is full, about 4 days. However, I believe these reservations are for the private soaking tubs and not necessarily the camping. We arrived on a Friday afternoon and found open camping spots but no availability for the private tubs. So, don’t be discouraged, show up to camp and soak and if you’re lucky, you might be able to nab a private soak. The communal soak was really amazing after dark. Stars, pretty lights, trees, and claw foot tubs. It was great. Temps are around 98 degrees. Not super hot but perfect for long soaks. Also, lots of fun birds like peacocks, guinea fowl, chickens, and a big hog.

funky, clean and very dude centric - perhaps because it is within walking distance of the truck stop at the end of the road. $15 for an hour soak or $40 for the day. the area that was offered was the communal space that included a couple of shared pools, single tubs and cold water tubs. the single tub worked for me, not sure that I would have gone for the shared tub with the 3 guys. the water was like warm, if it had been hot it would have been a better experience. the shower was great. private warm water stall near the toilets.

“Off season” feel in October. Feels safe. A little road noise. Definitely eclectic. Everything looks clean enough and weird enough to give it a go

It’s a cute place, lots of dick and not too many tits. Felt creeped out at this one old dude sunbathing with his legs wide open and starring at me coming in. I get that it’s a nude place, but that was a bit much. Also why you showing me your dick like that I could be your grand daughter???? anyway
So many flies on the campground!!!!! I got like 35 in my van and 20 around me when sitting outside — literally about to leave cuz it’s driving me crazy.
Meh, honestly wish I didn’t pay 30$

Beware creepy pervs!

While in the main public tub I found myself in the company of a older man who said he was a “regular” and an exhibitionist, boasting that he had been banned from several other nude establishments. Why, I asked? He then stood up to show off his at least 10 pounds worth of piercings on his genitalia. GROSS!!! I felt totally baited and very uncomfortable.

When I told the manager about this he replied if I were uncomfortable I could rent a private tub because It is their policy to REQUIRE guests to be nude in the main tub area. This being the case, why not ban creepy pervs and make this a SAFE place for women and children to soak?

PS: other guests appeared normal and respectful but still, beware! and fyi: the water is not hot, It is at best warm.

We asked the owner if he wanted this in iOverlander. He asked us not to. That was years ago. He said he feels over run already. Perhaps a good camper asks first. Sort of like when you take a photo of someone.
