Latest Check-Ins

Lots of Dispersed camp sites 3/4 mile from the rest area just off the highway.

Report Check-In

Seems nice enough. A little large for one person. It’s also a little more west than the coordinates say. It’s a big dirt circle. There is a scorch mark in the middle from fires

very convenient spot right off the freeway. Hear cars passing on freeway but other than that very quiet.

quiet far enough away from freeway. very few other campers and some good hikes to be had. seems popular with horses lots of horse poop...

Report Check-In

Found a nice spot just past the first large parking area. The freeway noise was like white noise at night. It’s a good spot to park and sleep.

Report Check-In

Nice spot just off the highway. Still can have a bit or noise from the highway but far quieter than a rest stop. It looks like there has been some conservation and restoration work closing a few pull-offs and other trail areas. Please help keep the area healthy and open to all by obeying signage, park in established and open areas, and of course pack it out.
